Mackenzie McArthur is a board-certified Physician Associate with a Doctor of Medical Science degree with extensive clinical and academic experience in neurogastroenterology. She served as The Director of the Neurogenic Bowel Program at Atrium Health Wake Forest and spent five years as a clinical PA specializing in motility. Her expertise led to previous faculty position with GHAPP and APP education initiatives with ACG and ANMS. She now serves as a Medical Science Liaison focused on the education and clinical science for Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Chronic Idiopathic Constipation and Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. Her work helps to bridge the gap between clinical practice and emerging science to inform and elevate care standards for patients.
