With rates of pediatric food allergy on the rise, timely diagnosis and effective management remain critical challenges for healthcare providers. In this live dinner symposium, experts will explore the latest evidence on immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated food allergies, including guideline-based diagnostic strategies and newly approved therapies. Faculty also will guide learners through the CME Situation Room, a series of interactive food allergy clinical situations, highlighting the impact these allergies have on quality of life as well as the best management plan for each patient.

Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Describe the burden of IgE-mediated food allergies on quality of life.
  • Identify pediatric patients with IgE-mediated food allergy using guideline-recommended diagnostic approaches.
  • Consider newly approved therapies to manage patients with IgE-mediated food allergy.
  • Use multidisciplinary/interprofessional coordination of care to optimize outcomes of patients with food allergies.
