Topic

Despite overwhelming evidence for the cardiorenal protective effects of SGLT2 inhibitors and well-established guidelines supporting their use, this class of medications remains underused or delayed in eligible patients, even in patients with Class 1a recommendations. Recent studies have highlighted the economic and clinical value of early initiation of SGLT2 inhibitor therapy, particularly in the vulnerable period after hospitalization. Join us to hear experts discuss treatment of patients with heart failure and participate with them in small group case-study workshops.
